Firebrand Construction is the realization of an entrepreneurial dream decades in the making. Kyler McCommas grew up an ag kid in rural Lincoln County working as free labor on jobsites for his father's residential construction company. In the early 2000s Kyler pulled double duty as a full-time Construction Management student at Oklahoma State and employee for a Stillwater-based General Contractor. This period of simultaneous classroom and on-the-job education stoked the fire to one day start his own firm, and the relationships made with local businessmen and women cemented the desire to come back to Stillwater when that time came. Kyler graduated and started a career trajectory that spanned over a quarter of a billion dollars in direct project management across the Commercial, Industrial, and Heavy Civil construction sectors. Kyler founded Firebrand Construction in the spring of 2021. Firebrand is the culmination of 20 years of hard work and passion for constant improvement in the general contracting field. The vision for this company has always been to manage transparently, respectfully, and with detailed care through each phase of the construction process, ultimately delivering a product that exceeds the quality expectations of all parties involved.
